I am a spark
of starlight
of a constellation
here to shine truth
to those who seek light
in the dark of night.

I am a speck
of sand
of the desert floor
here to cover the feet
of those who walk
sacred grounds of the earth.

I am a grain
of rice
of verdant paddies
here to kiss the lips
of those who seek sustenance
for tired bodies.

I am
an infinitesimally small
here together with you.

And together
we are
beyond ourselves.

We are
the great celestial body
the vast arid land
the fragrant fertile fields.

We are
beyond ourselves.
